What is the Ronin 4D?
The latest member of DJI’s Ronin family - the DJI Ronin 4D - has arrived and it’s an absolute game-changer for pro cinematographers and filmmakers. The Ronin 4D combines all your favourite DJI technology to deliver an all-new fully-integrated filming experience. It’s a true all-in-one machine designed to fit seamlessly into your cinematic workflow.
It’s available in two versions: 4D 6K which delivers 6K video at up to 60fps or 4K at 120fps for silky smooth slow-mo and 4D 8K delivers an 8K image at up to 75fps.
What makes the Ronin 4D Special?
The Ronin 4D is the first cinema camera in its class, delivering a cinema optimised full-frame sensor, 4-axis Ronin stabilisation, LiDAR focusing technology and wireless video transmission all in one compact yet versatile package.
Full Frame Sensor
The Ronin 4D packs a punch with the new full-frame Zenmuse X9 sensor, designed from the ground up for the Ronin 4D. Paired with Ronin’s powerful processor, the Zenmuse X9 takes full advantage of the CineCore 3.0 image processing system.
CineCore 3.0 supports recording with ProRes RAW, ProRes 422 or H.264 video codecs - ideal for professional applications. With 14 stops of dynamic range and the DJI Cinema Colour System, you’ll achieve vivid colours that pack a punch.
Integrated 4-Axis Ronin Gimbal
If you love using the Ronin 2 or RS2 to capture super stable cinematic footage, you’ll love the Ronin 4D. With an integrated 4-Axis gimbal that delivers smooth footage and eliminates even the slightest of microjitters, the Ronin 4D completely eliminates the need to rig your camera on a traditional gimbal, saving you time and money.
The unique Z-axis arm allows you to eliminate vertical shake from operator movement, providing unparalleled vertical shot stability. You can achieve ultra-smooth video with every shot, even in Sports mode!
O3 Wireless Full HD Video Transmission
Say goodbye to your Teradeck! With integrated O3 wireless FHD video transmission technology, you can say goodbye to clunky, inconvenient external video transmission systems. O3 allows you to wirelessly transmit 1080p/60fps footage directly to multiple video monitors for live playback and camera control up to 6KM away.
Use the High-Bright Remote Monitor to wirelessly control every camera setting to capture the perfect shot. With O3 transmission, Ronin 4D is perfect for remote operations, filming with car mounts, jibs and cranes, or just for remote playback.
LiDAR Focusing System
DJI’s new LiDAR focusing system will completely change the way you achieve perfectly focused shots on set, providing 3D imaging that perfectly highlights the focal points of your shot. It supports auto and manual focus controls, plus with ActiveTrack Pro integration, you’ll be able to keep your subject in focus no matter how fast they move.
