How it works

Three simple steps to turn your old DJI gear into credit towards a new DJI product at RRP. Credit must be used in the same in-store transaction.

  1. Check eligibility

    Search for your model above to see its estimated trade-in value.

  2. Prepare your device

    Back up your files and unbind your DJI Account. We reset all devices to factory settings.

  3. Visit us in-store

    Use your credit in the same transaction as a new DJI purchase at RRP. Photo ID is required.

What devices are eligible for trade-in?

Most DJI drones, controllers, and select DJI devices are eligible. Use the search table above to check if your specific model qualifies. Other DJI devices may also be eligible — enquire in-store for details.

What condition does my device need to be in?

We accept devices in any condition. Trade-in value depends on the condition of your device and the accessories you bring in. Even if your device is not eligible for trade-in credit, we can recycle it for free at our stores.

How is the trade-in value determined?

Trade-in credit is based on D1 Store's current value of your device and assessed against its current condition, including functionality and completeness of accessories. The values listed in the table are maximums — your final credit may vary.

What is VIP pricing?

VIP Trade-In pricing is exclusively available to customers who originally purchased their device from D1 Store. You'll need to provide proof of purchase. Visit us in-store to receive your VIP valuation.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Yes — bring your device and any accessories, plus a valid photo ID. For VIP pricing, also bring your proof of purchase from D1 Store. Make sure you've backed up your files and unbound your DJI Account beforehand.

Can I trade in a device I purchased elsewhere?

Absolutely. Standard trade-in pricing is available to everyone regardless of where the device was originally purchased. VIP pricing is reserved for devices originally bought from D1 Store.

When can I use my trade-in credit?

Trade-in credit must be used in the same in-store transaction as the purchase of a new DJI product at RRP. Credit cannot be stored, transferred, or redeemed at a later visit.

Is the trade-in program available online?

Our Trade-In Service is currently offered in-store only and is available exclusively to Australian residents living in Australia. Credit must be used in the same transaction as a new DJI purchase at RRP. Visit any D1 Store location to complete your trade-in.
